People in Niagara-on-the-Lake will be able to participate in the NRT OnDemand Service.
Starting November 23rd, they will be able to book a shared ride for local trips within the municipality for the cost of $3.00.
For the cost of $6.00, commuters can connect to Niagara Region Transit conventional service at the hub located at the Outlet Collection in Niagara.
This will include both the local fare and the transfer.
NRT OnDemand will operate in the area from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
The OnDemand service is the result of a partnership between Niagara Regio and the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and it will replace their previous fixed-route service.
Due to the pandemic, riders will need to wear a mask, and will be separated from the driver by a partition.
