One Dead After Weekend Crash

Police say it happened Saturday, when a motorcycle and car collided on Highway 58 at Kleiner Street

Tragedy on Highway 58 in Welland over the weekend.

Provincial police were called to a collision between a motorcycle and car Saturday afternoon, near Kleiner Street.

The driver and passenger of the motorcycle, both from Niagara Falls, were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The passenger was pronounced dead, the driver is now in stable condition.

The driver of the car was not hurt.
