Three people hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries
A crash in Thorold has sent three people to hospital.
Police say the incident took place around 12:45 this afternoon near the intersection of Merrittville Highway and Beaverdams Road.
Details are limited, but police say there were two cars involved.
Merrittville Highway was closed between Beaverdams Road and Decew Road, but has since re-opened.
One of the injured people, a woman in her 20s, was taken to an out of region hospital.
Two more people have been taken to a local hospital, and all three suffered non-life threatening injuries.
