Damage estimated at about $1.5 million.
One person has been hospitalized following a large structure fire in Niagara Falls early this morning.
The fire occurred at a home on Crowland Avenue near Young Road.
Deputy Fire Chief Ken Henry tells us crews were called to the scene around 5:00 a.m. and found the house fully engulfed in flames.
The owner was hospitalized with minor burns and smoke inhalation.
The house and several vehicles on the property went up in flames.
Henry says about $1.5 million worth of damage was done.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
The fire has been put out, but Henry says crews remain at the scene to put out hot spots.
