A serious collision in Welland is under investigation.
The crash occurred this morning at the intersection of Highway 140 and East Main Street.
OPP Constable Brittni Lewis tells us a car drove into a traffic light.
The lone male driver was hospitalized, and his injuries are considered to be "life altering."
The OPP's Traffic Support Unit is investigating, and all lanes have been re-opened.
No word yet on a cause.
