Port Robinson Ferry service runs May to October
Cyclists and motorists will both be happy to hear the Port Robinson Ferry will be back inoperation starting next month
Thorold Tourism announcing the ferry will begin operating on weekends starting May 7th from 9 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday's.
It will run daily beginning Saturday, May 21st until the end of the season in October.
On its website. Thorold Tourism says "the Port Robinson Ferry, is the only ferry service on the Welland Canal. The now accessible ferry has shuttled people across the Welland Canal since a laker collided with and destroyed the bridge to the hamlet in the 1970s."
