Ontario government is lifting the state of emergency declared in response to convoy protests.
Ontario's state of emergency is coming to an end.
A statement from the Premier's office confirming the state of emergency will be terminated as of 5:00 p.m. today.
"The emergency tools provided to law enforcement will be maintained at this time as police continue to address ongoing activity on the ground," the statement reads.
"We remain grateful to all frontline officers and first responders that contributed to peacefully resolving the situation in Ottawa, Windsor and in other parts of the province."
This comes after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the Emergencies Act is being revoked.
