One woman dead, two kids injured after house fire last night

A woman is dead and two children in hospital after a house fire in Wainfleet last night.

The blaze occurred around 8:00 p.m. at a home on Perry Road.

The children are being treated for smoke inhalation and burns, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

No one else was home at the time.

Niagara Regional Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating

Fire Chief Morgan Alcock says the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
