The province is confirming 1,588 new COVID-19 cases and 19 deaths today.
Ontario's death toll has now reached 8,525, with an additional 1,401 patients in hospital and 735 in ICUs.
Over two-thirds of today's new cases are in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa and York Region.
So far, more than 7.4 million vaccinations have been administered in Ontario.
