Union says COVID cases causing disruptions to learning environment
One of Ontario’s teachers union is asking the Ford government to bring back the mask mandate
The Ontario English Catholic teachers Association made the request late last week arguing teacher and student absences due to COVID are Causing “whiplash disruptions to the learning environment.”
OECTA President Barb Dobrowolski says the union told the Ford government, the March 21st date which saw the end to mandatory masking, was too early.
The Ford government insisting last week it can manage the sixth wave without resuming any public health restrictions.
