The Overdose Prevention and Education Network of Niagara is warning the public about a bad batch of drugs on the streets.
Co-Chair Glen Walker says it looks like sedatives and stimulants are being added to opioids, and they could make naloxone less effective in the event of an overdose.
The tainted drugs could be connected to a couple of deaths in the Region over the past week and a half.
Walker says those who are using illegal drugs, should not use alone.
