St. Catharines City Hall will look a little different for a few months. The original brass doors and windows out front will be removed and sent away for restoration work.
They were first installed back in 1937.
A hollow metal door will be installed in the meantime, and temporary hoarding will also be installed over the two remaining openings.
All of the work should wrap up by the end of January.
The City is investing more than $196,000 into this project.
