Niagara Catholic says two cases claimed to be epidemiologically linked.
A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Holy Cross Secondary School in St. Catharines.
Niagara Catholic says there is one active case of the virus at the school.
A spokesperson tells us an outbreak was declared yesterday, after the case was confirmed to be epidemiologically linked to another case within the school that was resolved on October 30th.
The person whose case has been resolved didn't go into the building during their isolation period.
The Ministry of Health says a case is deemed to be epidemiologically linked if the person had either been exposed to a confirmed case, or had the same exposure as a confirmed case.
