Local residents will have another way to cool off starting tomorrow.
Outdoor pools will be reopening in Niagara Falls.
But things will look a bit different at the city's five outdoor pools with new COVID-19 protocols in place.
Pools will be open for about two hours blocks for public swims, with regular closures for cleaning.
Check with your local pool for their operating hours, or to reserve an adult lane swim.
A reduced number of people will be allowed in the pools at each time.
Swimmers will not have access to change rooms and facilities will be open for washrooms only.
The city's seven splash pads are also open, with restrictions in place.
