Niagara has 13 confirmed cases of the variant initially found in the UK, and 384 more cases remain under investigation following the detection of variants.
There are 817 active cases and 33 active outbreaks.
The region's highest active case counts are in Welland, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.
Throughout Ontario, there are 3,215 new cases and 17 deaths today.
There are 1095 new cases in Toronto, 596 in Peel, 342 in York Region, 225 in Ottawa and 187 in Durham.
