They say that today's numbers reflect an additional 388 cases due to the clearance of a large backlog.
There were ten new deaths in the region, bringing our death toll to 196.
There are 74 people with the virus in our local hospitals.
There are 1438 active cases and 50 active outbreaks locally.
West Lincoln, St. Catharines, and Lincoln are reporting the highest numbers of active cases.
The province is reporting 3338 new cases today.
There were 931 in Toronto, 531 in Peel, 241 in York Region and 165 in Waterloo.
