Pair of Announcements at Queen's Park

Retired General Rick Hillier will be first up.

Hillier, the head of Ontario's COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force will provide an update on the latest vaccine roll-out plans.

The retired general will give the update at 10:00 this morning.

The province has been accused of creating a confusing situation by allowing public health units to make individual plans for vaccine rollouts.

Meantime, Premier Doug Ford will be joined by Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, Minister of Long-Term Care, and Ross Romano, Minister of Colleges and Universities, to make an announcement at 1:00 this afternoon.
