Thousands of parents and school kids waiting to hear if kids will return to in class learning January 25th.
Ontario's chief medical officer of health is expected to submit his recommendations to the province on which region's, including Niagara will be allowed to resume in class learning next week.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce will then make an announcement either today or tomorrow.
Under the original plan, elementary students were set to return to class on Jan. 11th, while high school students had to wait until Jan. 25th, but when COVID cases began climbing the province delayed the start of classes by another two weeks.
Schools in pandemic hot zones like Toronto will not resume in person learning until next month.
