Parents Waiting Decision on Continuation of Remote Learning

The premier could announce today whether his government will keep kids out of school for another week.

Doug Ford telling reporters he would make a decision in the next day or two after consulting with the province's Medical Officer's of Health.

The possible move has the backing of the Elementary Teachers Federation wants online learning for students extended for another week.

ETFO President Sam Hammond says it makes no sense for the government to send students, teachers and education workers back to school while the province is locked for another two to three weeks.
