It begins next week, lasting to September 18th
A heads up to drivers in Niagara Falls.
Starting Monday, Montrose Road will be closed to through traffic between Lyons Creek Road and Grassy Brook Road.
The closure, which ends on September 18th, is to complete road improvements.
According to the City of Niagara Falls, crews will install deep sewers for the road widening and reconstruction of Montrose Road (Regional Road 98), Lyons Creek Road (Regional Road 47) and Biggar Road.
Businesses and residents will have access during the closure but may be asked to take another route.
Drivers can take Chippawa Creek Road to Moyer Road to Schisler Road instead.
Emergency services will have access to the work zone, but there may be delays.
