Organization $250,000 away from campaign goal.
Pathstone Mental Health is getting closer to opening a new site in Welland, thanks to support from the community.
The Pathstone Foundation says the River House RENO campaign's gift match has been achieved, with just over half a million dollars raised so far.
The campaign kicked off in March with a gift match commitment of up to $250,000 from Mountainview Building Group.
The organization says just under $250,000 still needs to be raised in order to achieve its goal.
Pathstone is looking to put down roots in the Niagara South area, in order to provide additional mental health services in the region.
Currently, the site 102 River Road remains under construction, but the site is expected to open early next year.
