A 55 year old man has life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car last night.
Around 6 PM, officers were called to the scene of the crash near Bridge Street and Sixth Avenue.
Investigators determined that a 19 year old male in a grey Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on Bridge Street, and hit the victim, who was crossing northbound.
The victim was initially treated at the scene, then was taken to an out of region hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call detectives at 905-688-4111, ext. 1009472.
