A teenaged girl continues to fight for life after being hit by a car in Grimsby.
It happened Monday morning as she walked to school.

A 14 year old girl is fighting for her life after being hit by a car in Grimsby.
The incident occurred on Livingston Avenue around 7:45 this morning.
Police say the vehicle involved is a black H3 Hummer SUV that was being driven by a 17 year old girl.
The driver remained at the scene.
The victim was treated by Niagara EMS, then taken to an out of region hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Livingston Avenue was closed for several hours between Slessor Avenue and Kidd Avenue but has been re-opened.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Niagara Regional Police.
