Non-profit launched T-shirt campaign and collected donations for food bank.
The Pelham Canada Day planning group raised over $2,000 this year for Pelham Cares.
In June, more than $1,500 was raised in the charity T-Shirt campaign.
Shirts were made available for pre-order and picked up curbside at the Meridian Community Centre.
As well, the group collected donations for the food bank at Centennial Park in Fenwick.
The drive-thru event raked in $473 in cash, as well as over 30 bags of food.
Pelham Cares says there has been an increased demand for food this year, due to the pandemic.
