A heat warning remains in effect for the Niagara Region.
Anyone looking to beat the heat in Pelham can head to Fire Station 1 on Highway 20.
The town is opening it as a cooling centre from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
You will be screened for COVID-19 when you arrive and physical distancing measures will be in place.
Environment Canada is predicting daytime highs over 30 this week, but it will feel closure to the low 40s or high 30s with the humidity.
