NASA's Perseverance Rover has safely landed on Mars!
It's the third spacecraft to land on the red planet this month.
Unlike the Hope spacecraft from the United Arab Emirates and Tianwe-1 from China, which entered orbit around Mars last week, Perseverance took a direct path to the surface.
Mariek Schmidt, an Earth Sciences professor at Brock University, is one of the scientists participating in the mission.
She will be examining samples collected for signs of life.
