Rudy finds man in ravine
A missing man has been found, thanks to a Niagara Regional Police dog.
Around 7:30 p.m. last night, an elderly man from St. Catharines was reported missing.
Police say yesterday afternoon, he left his home on Lake Street near Lakeshore Road.
During a search, police were drawn to a pathway leading into a ravine.
Police Service Dog Rudy indicated he wanted to go further down the pathway, and the man was found at the bottom of the ravine.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for further assessment and treatment.
