Discovery made in what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse in Niagara Falls last week
A major illegal cannabis bust by provincial police in Niagara Falls.
The investigation began when police learned of a strong cannabis odour coming from what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse on Don Murie Street.
Using a search warrant last week, police found plants with a potential street value of roughly $8-million.
Police say six people are charged with cultivating cannabis without authorization.

They were released from custody, and have a future court date at the end of May.
