Police in Port Colborne found the 30-year-old and the 29-year-old trying to charge the cart at a church, in the Highway 3 and Quarry Road area early Tuesday morning.
Officers later found out that it was reported stolen in Wainfleet, along with other items.
Both of the men have charged with break and enter. The 30-year-old has also been charged with failing to comply with probation.
