Niagara police are asking for your help in an attempted abduction case.
On Sunday, June 27th around 4:00 p.m., a woman in her 20's was walking eastbound along the Murray Street sidewalk near Stanley Avenue in Niagara Falls.
She was approached by a man driving a silver Buick.
The suspect got out of the car, grabbed the woman's arm, and told her to get inside the vehicle.
The victim broke free and ran across the street.
A black BMW style vehicle was seen in the area, and police say the driver allegedly honked at the suspect and exchanged words with him.
It's believed the BMW driver may have witnessed the incident.
The suspect is described as a Black male between 30 and 40 years old with short black hair.
He is around 6'0 tall and 180 pounds.
He was wearing blue jeans, a light coloured T-shirt and a gold chain around his neck.
The suspect's car is described as a newer model silver Buick with a Quebec license plate and a black leather interior.
Nearby residents and businesses are asked to check security footage, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras for suspicious activity in the area between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on June 27th.
