Police say there have been four reports of stolen SUVs in the past 24 hours.
Niagara Regional Police are investigating a string of SUV thefts in Grimsby.
Officers say during the last 24 hours, they have received reports of four stolen SUVs.
The stolen vehicles include the following:
- 2019 Toyota Highlander x2
- 2018 Toyota Highlander
- 2018 Lexus RX
All of the SUVs were reported stolen from the south side of the QEW.
In some cases, the vehicles were locked, and the keys were inside the owner's home.
Anyone with information about these incidents are asked to contact 8 District detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1025400.
Police say anyone who owns a Highlander should consider installing exterior motion lighting, getting a personalized GPS for the vehicle, and parking the SUV in a well-lit area within range of video surveillance.
