Motorcyclist loses his life in Highway 20 crash
Update 8:30, Thursday morning:
A Pelham man in his 50s is dead following a two vehicle crash on the Highway 20 overpass at the 406 in Thorold.
Niagara Regional police say just before 8, last night, a motorcycle collided with a white Hyundai.
The man on the motorcycle was taken to hospital in critical condition, but died at hospital. His name will not be released.
The driver of the car, a man in his 60s from St. Catharines, was taken to hospital with what police believe are non-life threatening injuries.
Police add both vehicles are considered demolished.

One person is dead following a head on collision on Highway 140, south of Netherby Road.
Provincial police say it happened yesterday, one vehicle was consumed by fire.
Niagara Regional police will also release details later about another fatal crash, it happened last night on the 406, at the highway 20 overpass.
