NRP looking for car similar to this one, after attempted robbery in West Lincoln
Police are working to track down two criminals that attempted to break into a vehicle this morning at a West Lincoln home.
They were called just before 5 to a home on Canborough Road, near the Haldimand county border for a robbery.
The homeowners found the suspects trying to break into their vehicles, and when they attempted to scare the suspects off, one of the homeowners was assaulted, leaving minor injuries.
The suspects took off in a stolen vehicle from Hamilton, then switched to a stolen Dodge Charger that had been taken from Haldimand County.
Police say the licence plate of that Charger is CSFM 216, and if you see it, or the suspects, do not approach, but call 911 right away.
The suspects wore masks, and due to it being night, there's no description of them at this point.
Police are asking anyone who has video footage of the area to call them.
