Update: new pictures of suspect

Update: Monday, the 4th

Police are giving credit to the public for helping them track the suspect to the Seaway Mall.

They've released pictures from Thursday, between 3 and 4:15pm.

They also believe he's driving a white Dodge Journey, with a broken front licence plate cover, and damage to the rear passenger side door near the wheel well.

Original Story:

The NRPS is searching for a suspect in a credit card scam in Pelham.

Last Thursday, a resident called the police to report that someone who claimed to be from their bank phoned and said their credit cards had been compromised.

The suspect then turned up at their door, posing as a bank employee, collected the credit cards and drove away.

The victim realized it was a scam and called police.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 25 to 35 years old, with a medium build and medium-length dreadlocks.  He was last seen wearing a navy-blue three-quarter length shirt, a light-coloured dress shirt, with black pants and black running shoes. He was seen leaving in a white SUV, believed to be a Dodge Journey.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
