They say a man was assaulted early New Year's Day in St. Catharines
Police are looking for five people wanted for a New Year's Day assault in St. Catharines.
Officers were called at around 3 in the morning, to the Helliwells Lane and St. Paul Street area for a disturbance.
They found the group began fighting a 25-year old man, who continued to be assaulted by the group after falling to the ground.
Police chased the group of five, identifying some of them, but police still need public assistance in catching them.
If you have video or pictures in the minutes before and after 3am, call police.
Police add the victim suffered minor injuries.
