Police say armed suspects appear to be targeting unlocked cars in Grimsby and Lincoln
Police are asking for help identifying three suspects believed to be armed with a handgun.
On Tuesday, officers were called to a house on Frances Crescent in Lincoln, after receiving a complaint about a suspicious person.
Police say the witness showed them surveillance footage that showed images of a person holding a firearm and checking for unlocked cars.
Yesterday, police received a similar call from a resident on Lampman Drive in Grimsby, only this time two suspects were involved.
In this instance, surveillance footage showed suspects entering unlocked vehicles.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect #1:
- Male
- Wearing a balaclava with a visible reflective emblem over the left brow
- Wearing a light coloured hooded sweatshirt
- Wearing dark cargo pants with detailing around the pockets on each leg
- Wearing a cross body satchel
- Wearing dark shoes
Suspect #2:
- Male
- Wearing a balaclava and neck covering
- Wearing a light coloured hooded sweatshirt
- Wearing dark pants
- Wearing white shoes
Suspect #3:
- Male
- Wearing a balaclava and neck covering
- Wearing a camo coloured jacket or hooded sweatshirt
- Wearing a cross body light coloured satchel
- Wearing dark shoes
Police believe the incidents are related.
