A heads up to drivers in Grimsby.
Niagara Regional Police tweeting out Main St W between Oakes Rd S and Lampman Drive will be closed for several hours, due to a collision.
Constable Philip Gavin tells us around 1:10 p.m., responders were called to the scene of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to an out of region hospital with what were initially believed to be life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Services Unit have been called in to assist with the investigation.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.
