Twenty two year old Tineisha Chatwin was found in a residence in the area of Church Street and Queenston Street at around three o'clock in the morning Saturday.
Chatwin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The NRP Homicide Unit has taken the lead in the investigation and are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
