The NRP is reminding Fort Erie residents to make sure their doors, gates and windows are locked.
Officers have responded to eight residential break and enters in the downtown area over the past two weeks.
The culprits have been targeting homes, garages and sheds.
They have also been using force to gain entry in some cases.
