A man has been charged with first degree murder and one count of attempted murder after a Muslim family was run down in London.
Four members of a Muslim family were killed around 8:40 last night near the area of Hyde Park Road.
The deceased include a 74 year old woman, a 44 year old woman, a 46 year old man and a 15 year old girl.
The only survivor was a nine year old boy.
Police say the driver of a pickup truck intentionally ran them over because of their faith.
The suspect, 20 year old Nathaniel Veltman of London, was arrested about seven kilometres away, in a parking lot of Cherryhill Village Mall on Oxford Street.
London police say there was evidence indicating the incident was hate-motivated.
