UPDATE: Missing Man Found Dead

UPDATE: Police have found the body of 36-year-old Joel Scott.

Foul play is not suspected in his death and the NRP will not be releasing further details out of respect for next of kin.

Police would also like to thank the public and the media for their help.

The NRP is on the lookout for a missing 36-year-old man who hasn’t been seen in almost three weeks.

Joel Scott was last spotted in the Third Street and Plymouth Road area of Welland on September 25th.

He’s white, about 5’10, weighs about 320 pounds and he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, grey pants and blue shoes.

Anyone with information should contact police.
