Suspect accused of stealing cash and cigarettes
Police are on the hunt for a suspect after a gas bar robbery in Niagara Falls.
Around 9:12 p.m. last night, officers were called to a gas bar kiosk near Lundy's Lane and Carlton Avenue.
Investigators say a man holding a black handgun demanded money and cigarettes from a clerk, before taking off on foot.
The clerk was not hurt.
Police searched the area with help from the Canine Unit, but the suspect managed to evade police.
It's believed the man ran south on Carlton Street towards Barker Street.
The suspect is described as follows:
- Male
- White
- 30 to 40 years
- 5’10" tall
- 200lbs
The suspect was last seen wearing:
- Black bandana
- Black leather coat
- Grey hoody with the hood up
- Black gloves
Nearby residents and businesses are asked to check any security footage they have for evidence that may help with the investigation.
