The NRP is investigating after someone tried to rob a restaurant on Lundy's Lane, close to Drummond Road in Niagara Falls.
Police say a man demanded cash from an employee late Tuesday morning, but ran away when he was unsuccessful.
He fled the area on foot before heading west in a white SUV.
The employee was not hurt.
