QUEBEC/ONTARIO - A 69-year-old who was convicted of murder in Quebec escaped from prison and now he could be in southwestern Ontario.
The OPP believe Lory Bill Germa could be in the South Bruce or Hanover area.
He's Metis and he stands at about 5'8, weighs about 165 pounds with a bald head, light skin and brown eyes and a scar about his left eyebrow. He also has several tattoos including a sword, a flying skull, seahorses, dragons, a Grim Reaper, a cloud and lightning bolt, and the name "Carol."
According to Correctional Service Canada, staff at Archambault Institution noticed that he was missing during an inmate count in the minimum security unit late Saturday.
Anyone with information that could lead to Germa's whereabouts should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. If you spot Germa, do not approach him and call 9-1-1 right away.
