Suspect took cash from 7-11 convenience store
Police are asking for help identifying a suspect after a robbery at a Port Colborne store.
Around 11:13 last night, police were called to the 7-11 store at 111 Clarence Street.
Investigators say a man entered the store with a hammer, smashed a glass case, and demanded money.
Staff members gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect ran east from the store into a nearby alley.
Nobody inside the store was hurt.
Despite assistance from the K9 unit, police were not able to track the man down.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- 5'10"
- 180 Lbs. medium build,
- Brown eyes and bushy eyebrows
The suspect’s clothing is described as:
- Green shirt covering face
- Blue hoodie
- Black pants
