Purse, urn stolen from car
Niagara police are asking for the public's help after a purse was stolen in St. Catharines.
On July 3rd, the victim parked her Jeep Cherokee in a parking lot on Welland Avenue at the corner of Court Street.
The victim thought she left her purse in a locked car, but when she returned, the bag had been stolen.
Inside the black leather purse was a blue velvet bag containing a black metal urn.
The urn had the remains of her husband.
A black leather men's wallet with an Ontario drivers license was also in the purse.
The purse may have also contained a previously cancelled Visa and Mastercard.
A suspect has not been identified, and anyone with information is asked to call the NRP at 905-688-4111, extension 1024233.
