Niagara Regional Police are investigating after a Thorold gas station was robbed.
Around 5:36 p.m. yesterday, officers were called to a Petro Canada location near Merrittville Highway and Highway 20.
Police say a man entered the gas station kiosk armed with a knife and threatened an employee.
He demanded two STLTH nicotine vape pods worth about $34, and fled on foot.
The staff member was not hurt.
A K9 unit was also to find the mask and bandana the suspect was wearing, but not the man himself.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- 25-35 years old
- Approximately 6'0 tall, medium build
- Appeared to have brown hair beneath the bandana
The suspect’s clothing is described as:
- Dark blue bandana with a white pattern
- Purple, blue, red, green, and yellow Halloween-style plastic face mask
- Plain yellow/orange t-shirt
- Black athletic shorts with a white logo that appeared to be Adidas
- Slide-style flip flops that were black with a white Air Jordan logo
