The NRP teamed up with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), OPP and Halton Police Service to conduct checks on commercial vehicles in Lincoln.
On June 17th, the project was conducted on roads in Lincoln, including the QEW.
Officers stopped 103 vehicles, and inspected 45.
Over 16 provincial offence notices were issued for infractions such as flat tires, insecure loads, improper brakes and no turning signals.
Two drivers and one truck were placed out of service.
