The public may hear some noise from police training exercises
If you live in West Lincoln be prepared for an increased police presence later this week.
On Thursday and Friday, Niagara Regional Police will be conducting some indoor and outdoor training at a property on College Street near Morgan Avenue.
Members of the public should expect to hear the sound of simulated gun fire, the possible smell of smoke and noise from some controlled explosions.
There will also be signage in the area regarding the training.
Traffic in the immediate area should not be affected.
The public and media are asked to stay away from the training site for their safety and the safety of the officers involved.
