Port Colborne is pulling the plug on all city events until July 2nd.
This means there will be no Canada Day celebration or third party events on city property.
Cruise nights are cancelled, so is the fire department’s Community Safety Day.
The Nickel Beach Bonfire was supposed to happen June 19th and the Art Crawl was scheduled for the 20th.
Events will be pushed back where possible and the city will post updates.
Port Colborne is looking at options and considering a virtual way for the city to celebrate Canada Day.
